If you’re burned out and stressed or depressed and unmoored, you’re in the right place. I help women learn to trust and respect themselves again so they can get on with living great lives. My approach is person-centered- we build on what you’ve got and clarify what you need. Because I am also an integrative health coach, I help my clients nail down healthy habits and drop self-sabotage. Additionally, I have training in postpartum mental health and body positivity. I primarily use mindfulness and ACT to help clients build resilience and grit. My down-to-earth style is equal parts Illinois and Brooklyn and demonstrates my belief that an honest therapeutic relationship can be deeply healing.
My passions include road trips and beaches and forests and hiking and good plays and movies about dysfunctional families. Also, women speaking truth to power.
I earned my MA in counseling from New York University as well as an MFA from American Conservatory Theater and a BA from Indiana University. I worked previously as a counselor with the Soho Center and the United Federation of Teachers and was an actor for eleven years.
